'Besharam', a Hindi word which translates to 'Shameless', is a short film which explores honest beauty among young South Asian Women, and the overbearing cloud of shame that they commonly grow up with. The film highlights the unlearning of hateful self image and encourages empowerment.

I am a 19 year old Punjabi girl that has grown up in Australia, and i make short films about the complexities of the human experience. I have always been drawn to storytelling emotion through film, and challenging the perceptions of my viewers.
