About the filmmakers
Woroud Al-Qassas, a filmmaker and photographer from Gaza, Palestine, seeks beauty within the ordinary, turning experience into art. A ConnectHer fellow, she won the 2023 Women & Environment Award and supervised the 2024 Grand Prize-winning film.

25 years old, from Gaza, Palestine. filmmaker and video editor with an interest in audiovisual arts. He is passionate about history and the oral documentation of heritage and folk stories. In 2022, he founded a platform specializing in the production of Palestinian cultural and heritage content called Fardisya.
