This year, we’re showcasing films from 24 countries, including award-winning filmmakers from past festivals! After the screening, engage in a live Q&A session with these talented storytellers and get an insider's look into their creative journeys.
Saturday Night Awards Ceremony
Saturday night brings the excitement of our red carpet Awards Ceremony, where we’ll present $30,000 in awards to outstanding filmmakers across categories like Best Documentary, Best Narrative, and Women & the Environment. Walk the red carpet and celebrate these impactful stories that are sparking conversations and driving social change. This year’s ceremony features special guests, including legendary Austin producer Elizabeth Avellán, soulful Austin-based band Ley Line, Sudanese poet and activist Emi Mahmoud, and surprise guests from the film industry.

- Monthly Project Partner Grants:We identify and partner with women-founded, locally-led projects that promote the rights and wellbeing of women and girls around the world. Our grants help increase impact in areas like maternal health, leadership and education.
- Pitch Fest:We invite ConnectHER Filmmakers to submit a 90 second video that pitches a film concept that creates awareness or shines a light on solutions to a problem faced by women and girls around the world. Winners receive funds from our sponsor partners to make their films.
- Fellowship:Our mentorship program in which young filmmakers deliver peer-to-peer filmmaking workshops in their communities. We are building a pipeline of young filmmakers to advocate for women and girls around the world. Workshop participants gain confidence as they learn to embrace technology and tell powerful stories that can change the world.
