Have you ever wondered how life would be different if you didn't know how to read and write? This is the reality of millions of people in Brazil. Unable to go to school, three illiterate women tell about their lives, achievements, difficulties and future prospects. Illiteracy is a social problem that still exists in Brazil. This documentary seeks to show that illiteracy is just one of the many difficulties that poverty brings to these women every day.

About the filmmaker



Natalia is 21 years old, was born and raised in a Brazilian slum. She saw her life change when she had access to quality education. She believes that education is the key to a better world.
