About the filmmaker
Amanda is a filmmaker and student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She has received the Green IS Grand Prize at ConnectHer Film Festival in 2016 for her film "What Being" which exposed animal testing for cosmetics and their impact on women and the environment.
