About the filmmaker

Hello, my name is Aubury Erickson and I am a woman in STEM. I am studying mechanical and industrial engineering with a concentration in nanotechnology and plan to study engineering in graduate school. I am very passionate about women's rights, especially those in the STEM field. I have helped to build the very first gender-empowering club at my University (the Women in STEM Leadership Program) as a co-president and have spearheaded mentoring events aimed to encourage girls to pursue STEM careers. I hope that by sharing the hardships of these women, we may be one step closer to having equal representation and treatment in the STEM fields.
