A short documentary on the evils of acid attacks in Pakistan and the consequences it has wrought on four survivors of this abuse. The film also features the women responsible for uplifting the victims and rebuilding them a place in society as independent, strong and empowered individuals.

About the filmmaker



Halimah Tariq is a lawyer and aspiring film maker working toward a commonality of purpose with the liberated female one short video at a time. She has previously won two awards at Connecther's GITW, subsequently championing their cause as a global outreach coordinator in local film competitions and schools.
